America’s Got Talent contestant Andrew Stanton took to Instagram after Tuesday’s live performance to assure fans that he’s okay after his dangerous performance. Stanton had seemed like he might not be feeling well as he listened to the judges’ critique.

Andrew Stanton Updates Fans After AGT Performance

Stanton’s performance on Tuesday involved pushing large corkscrews into his nose, lifting his assistant by his eye sockets, and eventually swinging from the ceiling with swords down his throat. The judges gave Stanton a standing ovation.

After his performance, Stanton dropped to his knees and appeared to be out of breath. He gave the judges a thumbs-up when they asked if he was okay. Later in the show, host Terry Crews told viewers that Stanton had been checked out by a medic and was fine.

Stanton later posted an Instagram video, telling fans, “Contrary to popular belief, I’m just fine. It was a lot of adrenaline after the show, and I just needed a break and a moment to catch my breath. I’m doing great, and I’m glad all the clickbait people are doing well.”

Will Stanton Make it to the Finals?

Stanton was one of 11 acts to take the stage during Tuesday’s new episode. The judges had positive things to say about a number of the acts, but only two can make it through to the Finals on Wednesday’s results show.

Simon Cowell described Stanton’s performance as “brilliantly disgusting” and “one of my favorite acts tonight.” Heidi Klum called it “very exciting in a very strange way.” Sofia Vergara said, “I hate myself for liking you.”
