America’s Got Talent Season 12 winner Darci Lynne Farmer recently shared a video in which she can be seen performing an original song called “My Thing.” The young ventriloquist has been sharing more and more of her original music lately, performed without her puppets.

Darci Lynne Performs Original Song ‘My Thing’

In the new video, Farmer performs on stage while wearing a pair of sequined pants and a puffy-sleeved blouse. Fans are used to seeing Farmer performing ventriloquism with different puppets, but this time it was all about her voice.

“Nothing’s ever been so clear / In my heart, there’s no fear / I’m meant to be here / I’m meant to be here,” Farmer sings to start the song, later singing, “From my head down to me feet / I gotta do my thing.”

It’s nice to hear Farmer performing her own original music, and she sounds just as amazing as we’ve come to expect from her Got Talent performances. Fans shared their praise for the performance in the video’s comments.

“Love the incredible energy you put into your songs. This one is awesome!!” wrote one commenter. Another wrote, “This is so good Darci! I can’t believe how much you’ve grown since AGT! Insane.”

Farmer Has Been Sharing Her Original Music

Over the past several months, Farmer has been sharing original music with her fans. During her time on AGT, we only got to hear her performing covers of existing songs, so it’s exciting to hear her sing music she wrote herself.

Usually, Farmer performs these original songs without her puppets, and without showing off her ventriloquism skills. However, during one performance in October, she performed her song “After Midnight” on stage without moving her lips.
